Article L4131-4-1 of the French Public Health Code

Persons authorised to practise medicine temporarily in application of article L. 4131-4 may apply for authorisation to practise in a specialty at the earliest at the end of the first year of practice and at the latest in the year following the last period of temporary authorisation to practise granted. They are deemed to have passed the knowledge verification tests provided for in article L. 4111-2. The Minister in charge of health decides on this application after receiving the opinion of a committee, the composition of which is set by decree.

Article L4131-4-1

Les personnes autorisées à exercer temporairement la médecine en application de l’article L. 4131-4 peuvent solliciter une autorisation d’exercice dans une spécialité au plus tôt à la fin de la première année d’exercice et au plus tard dans l’année suivant la dernière période d’autorisation temporaire d’exercice accordée. Elles sont réputées avoir satisfait aux épreuves de vérification de connaissances prévues à l’article L. 4111-2. Le ministre chargé de la santé statue sur cette demande après avis d’une commission dont la composition est fixée par décret.
