Article L414-1 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

With the exception of the multi-annual residence permit bearing the wording “seasonal worker” and the residence permit bearing the wording “retired person”, provided for in Articles L. 421-34 and L. 426-8 respectively, the residence documents mentioned in Article L. 411-1 allow their holder to reside in France for their entire period of validity.

Article L414-1

A l’exception de la carte de séjour pluriannuelle portant la mention ” travailleur saisonnier ” et de la carte de séjour portant la mention ” retraité “, respectivement prévues aux articles L. 421-34 et L. 426-8, les documents de séjour mentionnés à l’article L. 411-1 permettent à leur titulaire de séjourner en France pendant toute leur durée de validité.
