Article L4151-7-1 of the French Public Health Code

By way of derogation from article L. 4151-7, the initial training of midwives may be organised within universities, subject to the agreement of the regional council. This agreement must, in particular, cover the arrangements for funding the training. An order by the ministers responsible for health and higher education sets out the terms and conditions of this integration into the university for the site or sites concerned.

La formation initiale des sages-femmes peut être organisée au sein des universités, par dérogation à l’article L. 4151-7, sous réserve de l’accord du conseil régional. Cet accord doit notamment porter sur les modalités de financement de la formation. Un arrêté des ministres chargés de la santé et de l’enseignement supérieur fixe les modalités de cette intégration à l’université pour le ou les sites concernés.
