Article L4151-9 of the French Public Health Code

The region is responsible for the operation and equipment of the schools referred to in article L. 4151-7 when they are public. It may participate in the financing of the operation and equipment of these schools when they are private.

The operating and equipment subsidy is paid annually to the bodies that run these schools; the school’s expenditure and resources are identified in a specific budget.

The staff of schools run by a public health institution are recruited, managed and paid by this institution in accordance with the provisions of law no. 86-33 of 9th January 1986 on statutory provisions relating to the hospital civil service. Public schools recruit, manage and pay their own staff.

The terms of application of this article shall be determined by regulation.

Article L4151-9

La région a la charge du fonctionnement et de l’équipement des écoles mentionnées à l’article L. 4151-7 lorsqu’elles sont publiques. Elle peut participer au financement du fonctionnement et de l’équipement de ces écoles lorsqu’elles sont privées.

La subvention de fonctionnement et d’équipement est versée annuellement aux organismes qui gèrent ces écoles ; les dépenses et les ressources de l’école sont identifiées sur un budget spécifique.

Les personnels des écoles relevant d’un établissement public de santé sont recrutés, gérés et rémunérés par cet établissement selon les dispositions de la loi n° 86-33 du 9 janvier 1986 portant dispositions statutaires relatives à la fonction publique hospitalière. Les écoles privées recrutent, gèrent et rémunèrent leurs personnels.

Les modalités d’application du présent article sont déterminées par voie réglementaire.
