Article L4241-4 of the French Public Health Code

Any person holding a diploma, certificate or other evidence of formal qualifications awarded following training which has enabled them to acquire the skills required to practise this profession may practise as a pharmacy assistant and hold the title of pharmacy assistant. These diplomas, certificates and titles are defined by regulation.

Peut exercer la profession de préparateur en pharmacie et en porter le titre toute personne titulaire d’un diplôme, d’un certificat ou d’un titre délivré à la suite d’une formation lui ayant permis d’acquérir les compétences nécessaires à l’exercice de cette profession. Ces diplômes, ces certificats et ces titres sont définis par voie réglementaire.
