Article L4241-9 of the French Public Health Code

Persons authorised to practise the profession of pharmacy assistant in application of the provisions prior to 8 July 1977 enjoy, for life, the rights and prerogatives defined in articles L. 4241-1 and L. 4243-1.

The “brevet de préparateur” obtained before 31st December 1985, by persons preparing on 1st January 1978 the said “brevet” and by those who began an apprenticeship within twelve months of this date, confers the rights and prerogatives defined in the previous paragraph.

Les personnes autorisées à exercer la profession de préparateur en pharmacie en application des dispositions antérieures au 8 juillet 1977 bénéficient, leur vie durant, des droits et prérogatives définis aux articles L. 4241-1 et L. 4243-1.

Le brevet de préparateur obtenu avant le 31 décembre 1985, par les personnes préparant au 1er janvier 1978 ledit brevet et par celles qui sont entrées en apprentissage dans les douze mois qui suivent cette date, confère les droits et prérogatives définis à l’alinéa précédent.
