Article L4311-1-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Prior to the debates on the draft budget, the President of the Regional Council shall present a report on the situation with regard to equality between women and men concerning the operation of the region, the policies it pursues within its territory and the guidelines and programmes likely to improve this situation. The content of this report and the procedures for its preparation are set by decree.

Préalablement aux débats sur le projet de budget, le président du conseil régional présente un rapport sur la situation en matière d’égalité entre les femmes et les hommes intéressant le fonctionnement de la région, les politiques qu’elle mène sur son territoire et les orientations et programmes de nature à améliorer cette situation. Le contenu de ce rapport et les modalités de son élaboration sont fixés par décret.
