Article L4312-8 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The president of the regional council presents the administrative account annually to the regional council, which debates it under the chairmanship of one of its members.

The president of the regional council may, even if he is no longer in office, attend the discussion. He must withdraw when the vote is taken.

The administrative account is adopted by the regional council.

Previously, the regional council adopts the management account for the financial year ended.

Le président du conseil régional présente annuellement le compte administratif au conseil régional, qui en débat sous la présidence de l’un de ses membres.

Le président du conseil régional peut, même s’il n’est plus en fonction, assister à la discussion. Il doit se retirer au moment du vote.

Le compte administratif est adopté par le conseil régional.

Préalablement, le conseil régional arrête le compte de gestion de l’exercice clos.
