Article L4314-6 of the French Public Health Code

The offences referred to in articles L. 4163-3 and L. 4163-4 apply to nurses and are punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of 75,000 euros.

In the event of conviction, the courts or tribunals may, as an additional penalty, impose a temporary ban on practising the profession for a period of up to ten years.

Les infractions mentionnées aux articles L. 4163-3 et L. 4163-4 sont applicables aux infirmiers et infirmières et sont punies de deux ans d’emprisonnement et de 75000 euros d’amende.

En cas de condamnation, l’interdiction temporaire d’exercer la profession pendant une période de dix ans au plus peut être prononcée, à titre de peine complémentaire, par les cours ou tribunaux.
