Article L4321-19-4 of the French Public Health Code

I.-A territorial council of the order of masseur-physiotherapists is constituted in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon when the number of masseur-physiotherapists practising there is at least equal to twice the minimum number provided for the departmental councils of the order of masseur-physiotherapists.

Until such time, registration is decided by the representative of the State in the local authority.

II – The procedures for electing and running the territorial council of the Ordre des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, its powers and responsibilities are identical to those of the departmental councils in mainland France. At the time of the first elections or in the event of new elections, lots will be drawn to determine which of the two members of the territorial council will have their term of office expire within three or six years respectively.

I.-Un conseil territorial de l’ordre des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes est constitué à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon lorsque le nombre de masseurs-kinésithérapeutes y exerçant est au moins égal au double de l’effectif minimal prévu pour les conseils départementaux de l’ordre des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes.

Jusqu’à ce qu’il en soit ainsi, l’inscription est prononcée par le représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité.

II.-Les modalités d’élection et de fonctionnement, les attributions et les compétences du conseil territorial de l’ordre des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes de Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon sont identiques à celles des conseils départementaux de métropole. Lors de premières élections ou en cas de nouvelles élections, un tirage au sort détermine ceux des binômes du conseil territorial dont le mandat viendra à expiration respectivement dans les délais de trois ou six ans.
