The members of the councils of the Order of chiropodists are elected by a single-ballot majority system. Each pair is composed of candidates of different genders. If the Council of the Order has an uneven number of members, the member of the last elected pair drawn by lot is deemed to have been elected.
A decree of the Conseil d’Etat shall determine the procedures for the application of this article.
By way of derogation from the previous paragraph, when the number of chiropodists of the same sex registered on the roll of the Association and fulfilling the conditions of eligibility is less than or equal to 30, the Council of the Association is elected by a single-ballot majority system.
