Article L4322-5 of the French Public Health Code

Persons who have proved that they were regularly practising the profession of chiropodist on 1 May 1946 and who have received authorisation may perform, for life, the acts within the competence of chiropodists holding the diploma instituted by this Title. Mention of their authorisation is made in a special register filed with the prefecture.

Les personnes qui ont fait la preuve qu’elles exerçaient régulièrement la profession de pédicure-podologue au 1er mai 1946 et qui ont reçu une autorisation peuvent effectuer, leur vie durant, les actes de la compétence des pédicures-podologues possesseurs du diplôme institué par le présent titre. Mention de leur autorisation est portée sur un registre spécial déposé à la préfecture.
