Notwithstanding the provisions of article L. 4361-2, the following are authorised to continue practising the profession of hearing aid acoustician:
1° Persons holding a certificate of technical studies in acoustics applied to hearing aid fittings issued by faculties of medicine, faculties of pharmacy or combined faculties of medicine and pharmacy;
2° Subject to being authorised to do so by a national qualification commission set up by order of the ministers responsible for veterans, higher education and health, persons who can prove that they have been regularly fitting hearing aids for at least five years prior to 4 January 1967;
3° Subject to passing a probationary professional examination, the conditions of which are set by an order of the ministers responsible for veterans, higher education and health:
a) The persons mentioned in 2° who have not received authorisation from the national qualification commission;
b) Persons who have regularly fitted hearing impaired people for a period of less than five years prior to 4 January 1967.
Between 3 January 1967 and the date of the decision of the national qualification commission or the result of the probationary professional examination, the persons mentioned in 1°, 2° and 3° are temporarily authorised to continue practising the profession of hearing aid acoustician. However, they must have submitted their application before a date set by decree.
