Article L443-3 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Foreign nationals holding residence permits issued in mainland France, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Reunion Island, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, as well as those holding resident permits issued in New Caledonia, may reside in Saint-Martin.
Residence permits issued in Saint-Martin allow residency in mainland France, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, La Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.

Peuvent séjourner à Saint-Martin les étrangers titulaires des titres de séjour délivrés en métropole, en Guadeloupe, en Guyane, en Martinique, à La Réunion, à Saint-Barthélemy, à Saint-Martin et à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon ainsi que ceux titulaires de la carte de résident délivrée en Nouvelle-Calédonie.
Les titres de séjour délivrés à Saint-Martin permettent de séjourner en métropole, en Guadeloupe, en Guyane, en Martinique, à Mayotte, à La Réunion, à Saint-Barthélemy, à Saint-Martin et à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
