The regional development plan respects:
1° The general compulsory town planning and development rules set out in Title I of Book I of the Town Planning Code, the provisions specific to the coastline set out in Chapter I of Title II of the same book, the provisions specific to aerodrome noise zones set out in Article L. 112-3 of the same code as well as the public utility easements affecting land use;
>The provisions necessary for the implementation of operations of national interest within the meaning of Article L. 102-12 of the Code de l’Urbanisme
2° The provisions necessary for the implementation of operations of national interest within the meaning of article L. 102-12 of the town planning code and projects of general interest for which the State is responsible as provided for by article L. 102-1 of the same code;
3° Legislation relating to the protection of sites and landscapes as well as the protection of listed or registered monuments;

4° The principles of rural development defined by article L. 111-2 of the Rural and Maritime Fishing Code.
