The organisation and management of the occupational health and prevention service are placed under the supervision of :
1° Either an inter-company social and economic committee set up by the social and economic committees concerned ;
2° Or a supervisory commission, one third of whom are employers’ representatives and two thirds of whom are employees’ representatives. The employers’ representatives are appointed by the professional employers’ organisations that are representative of the member undertakings under the conditions set out in 1° of article L. 4622-11. The employee representatives are appointed by the representative trade union organisations at national and cross-industry level from among the employees of the member undertakings. Employers’ and employees’ representatives may not serve more than two consecutive terms. Its chairman is elected from among the employee representatives.
This committee or commission may refer any matter relating to the organisation or management of the occupational health and prevention service to the regional occupational health and prevention committee.
