The Labour Inspectorate monitoring officer referred to in Article L. 8112-1 may take any appropriate measures to immediately remove a worker who has not withdrawn from a situation of serious and imminent danger to his life or health, constituting a breach of the obligations of the decrees issued pursuant to Articles L. 4111-6, L. 4311-7 or L. 4321-4, in particular by ordering the temporary stoppage of the part of the work or activity in question, when he finds that the cause of the danger results from:
1° Either a lack of protection against falls from a height ;
2° The absence of devices to prevent the risk of burial; or
3° The absence of protective devices to avoid the risks associated with work involving the removal or encapsulation of asbestos and materials, equipment, materials or articles containing it, including demolition work, or work on materials, equipment, materials or articles likely to cause the emission of asbestos fibres;
4° The use of work equipment without appropriate guards, protective devices or safety components, or where such guards, protective devices or safety components are inoperative;
5° The risk resulting from work or activity in the vicinity of overhead or underground power lines;
6° or the risk of direct electrical contact with bare live parts outside the operations provided for in Chapter IV of Title IV of Book V of this Part.
