The purpose of employment aid is :
1° To facilitate the continuity of employees’ activity in the face of transformations resulting from economic change and, to this end, to promote their adaptation to new jobs in the event of professional changes due to technical developments or changes in production conditions;
2° To encourage the introduction of preventive measures to prepare employees for professional adaptation to changes in employment and qualifications in companies and professional branches;
3° Promote the qualification and integration of jobseekers;
4° Contribute to professional equality between men and women.
