Article L512-31 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Articles of Association determine the registered office, territorial scope and mode of administration of the Caisses de Crédit Agricole Mutuel.

They determine the nature and scope of their operations, the rules to be followed for amending the Articles of Association, the dissolution of the company, the composition of the capital, the proportion in which each member may contribute to the constitution of this capital and the conditions under which it may withdraw.

They regulate the extent and conditions of the liability of each member in respect of the commitments entered into by the caisse, in accordance with the provisions of article L. 512-26.

The Articles of Association of the Caisses de Crédit Agricole Mutuel that have called on the financial assistance of the central body of Crédit Agricole set the maximum amount of deposits to be received in current accounts or on maturity, the amount of these deposits always having to be represented by an equal asset, immediately realisable at the time of maturity.

Article L512-31

Les statuts déterminent le siège, la circonscription territoriale et le mode d’administration des caisses de crédit agricole mutuel.

Ils fixent la nature et l’étendue de leurs opérations, les règles à suivre pour la modification des statuts, la dissolution de la société, la composition du capital, la proportion dans laquelle chacun des membres peut contribuer à la constitution de ce capital et les conditions dans lesquelles il peut se retirer.

Ils règlent l’étendue et les conditions de la responsabilité qui incombe à chacun des sociétaires dans les engagements pris par la caisse, conformément aux dispositions de l’article L. 512-26.

Les statuts des caisses de crédit agricole mutuel ayant fait appel au concours financier de l’organe central du crédit agricole fixent le maximum des dépôts à recevoir en compte courant ou à échéance, le montant de ces dépôts devant toujours être représenté par un actif égal, immédiatement réalisable au moment des échéances.
