Article L512-43 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

In the event of the dissolution of regional mutual agricultural credit associations that have received advances from the central body of agricultural credit, the remaining assets are, after payment of the company’s debts and reimbursement of the capital actually paid in, placed on deposit, without interest, with the central body of agricultural credit, until the amount can be made available, as and when required, to any regional mutual agricultural credit association that is set up to replace the dissolved association in the same département.

In the event of the dissolution of local caisses de crédit agricole mutuel which have benefited from these advances through the intermediary of the regional caisses, their assets, including reserves, are, after payment of corporate debts and reimbursement of the capital actually paid in, allocated to a work of agricultural interest, on the decision of the general meeting approved by the central body of Crédit Agricole.

Article L512-43
