Article L512-67 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Credit institutions which change their status to that of a cooperative bank must, within one year of their authorisation, comply with the provisions of articles L. 512-61 to L. 512-64, failing which they will be banned from all activity as a precautionary measure.

Les établissements de crédit qui transforment leur statut pour adopter celui de société coopérative de banque doivent, dans le délai d’un an à compter de leur agrément, se conformer aux dispositions des articles L. 512-61 à L. 512-64, sous peine d’interdiction totale d’activité à titre conservatoire.
