Article L5121-21 of the French Public Health Code

I.-For the application of article L. 5121-1 :

1° Army hospitals are considered to be health establishments ;

2° The Armed Forces Central Pharmacy may be authorised to make the hospital preparations mentioned in the last three paragraphs of 2° of the same Article L. 5121-1.

II – The provisions of this Title relating to gene therapy preparations and xenogenic cell therapy preparations referred to in 12° and 13° of Article L. 5121-1 apply to army hospitals. A decree in the Conseil d’État shall determine the adaptations that may be made, with regard to these hospitals, to the authorisation procedures applicable to health establishments.

Article L5121-21

I.-Pour l’application de l’article L. 5121-1 :

1° Les hôpitaux des armées sont regardés comme des établissements de santé ;

2° La pharmacie centrale des armées peut être habilitée à réaliser les préparations hospitalières mentionnées aux trois derniers alinéas du 2° du même article L. 5121-1.

II.-Les dispositions du présent titre relatives aux préparations de thérapie génique et aux préparations de thérapie cellulaire xénogénique visées au 12° et au 13° de l’article L. 5121-1 s’appliquent aux hôpitaux des armées. Un décret en Conseil d’État détermine les adaptations qui peuvent être apportées, en ce qui concerne ces hôpitaux, aux procédures d’autorisation applicables aux établissements de santé.
