Article L513-7 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The judicial authority shall communicate to the Director General of the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons, to the Director General of the French Office for Immigration and Integration and to the President of the National Court of Asylum, on request or of its own motion, any evidence gathered in the course of civil proceedings or a criminal or correctional investigation, including when the latter has ended in a dismissal, of such a nature as to give rise to suspicion that an asylum application is fraudulent.

L’autorité judiciaire communique au directeur général de l’Office français de protection des réfugiés et apatrides, au directeur général de l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration et au président de la Cour nationale du droit d’asile, sur demande ou d’office, tout élément recueilli au cours d’une instance civile ou d’une information criminelle ou correctionnelle, y compris lorsque celle-ci s’est terminée par un non-lieu, de nature à faire suspecter le caractère frauduleux d’une demande d’asile.
