Article L5135-3 of the French Labour Code

The beneficiary of a period of work experience retains the benefit scheme and status he enjoyed prior to this period. They are not paid by the structure in which they complete a work placement period.

At the host company, they have access to the public transport and facilities available to employees.

If employed, the beneficiary returns to his or her job at the end of this period.

Le bénéficiaire d’une période de mise en situation en milieu professionnel conserve le régime d’indemnisation et le statut dont il bénéficiait avant cette période. Il n’est pas rémunéré par la structure dans laquelle il effectue une période de mise en situation en milieu professionnel.


Il a accès dans la structure d’accueil aux moyens de transport et aux installations collectifs dont bénéficient les salariés.


Lorsqu’il est salarié, le bénéficiaire retrouve son poste de travail à l’issue de cette période.
