Article L5141-14-1 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The holders of marketing authorisations for veterinary medicinal products referred to in article L. 5141-1 and the companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of medicated feed declare to the competent administrative authority the veterinary medicinal products containing one or more antimicrobial substances which they sell or which are sold on their behalf on national territory. Manufacturers and distributors of medicated feed shall also mention the prescribing veterinarian and the animal keepers for whom these medicinal products are intended.

II – The professionals mentioned in article L. 5143-2 declare to the administrative authority the veterinary medicinal products containing one or more antimicrobial substances that they prescribe, sell or use, as well as the medicinal products for human use sold, prescribed or used in application of article L. 5143-4. The declaration shall mention the identity of the holders of animals for which these medicinal products are intended, belonging to species whose flesh or products are intended for human consumption. The declaration shall mention the prescribing veterinarian.

Article L5141-14-1

I.-Les titulaires d’autorisation de mise sur le marché de médicaments vétérinaires mentionnée à l’article L. 5141-1 ainsi que les entreprises assurant la fabrication et la distribution d’aliments médicamenteux déclarent à l’autorité administrative compétente les médicaments vétérinaires comportant une ou plusieurs substances antimicrobiennes qu’ils cèdent ou qui sont cédés pour leur compte sur le territoire national. Les fabricants et distributeurs d’aliments médicamenteux mentionnent, en outre, le vétérinaire prescripteur et les détenteurs d’animaux auxquels ces médicaments sont destinés.

II.-Les professionnels mentionnés à l’article L. 5143-2 déclarent à l’autorité administrative les médicaments vétérinaires comportant une ou plusieurs substances antimicrobiennes qu’ils prescrivent, cèdent ou utilisent ainsi que les médicaments à usage humain cédés, prescrits ou utilisés en application de l’article L. 5143-4. La déclaration mentionne l’identité des détenteurs d’animaux auxquels ces médicaments sont destinés, appartenant à des espèces dont la chair ou les produits sont destinés à la consommation humaine. La déclaration mentionne le vétérinaire prescripteur.
