It is forbidden to solicit orders for veterinary medicines from the public through brokers or by any other means, and to fulfil such orders.
It is forbidden for any person, with the exception of veterinary doctors in the exercise of their profession, to sell veterinary medicines from their home.
The sale of veterinary medicinal products, whether free of charge or in return for payment, is prohibited on the public highway, at fairs, markets and public events, to any person, even if they hold a pharmacist’s or veterinary doctor’s diploma.
When a veterinary surgeon prescribes medicines authorised and prepared for human use, the pharmacist dispensing these products must indicate on the packaging that these products have become veterinary products and render unusable any labels which may accompany these medicines.
