Article L5211-2 of the French Labour Code

As part of the regional public vocational training service defined in article L. 6121-2, the region is responsible for access to training and vocational qualifications for people with disabilities.

It defines and implements a regional programme for access to training and vocational qualifications for disabled people in consultation with :

1° The State ;

2° The public employment service ;

3° The association managing the fund for the professional integration of disabled people;

4° The fund for the integration of disabled people into the civil service;

5° (Repealed)

6° Social protection bodies;

7° Trade unions and associations representing the disabled.

Article L5211-2

La région est chargée, dans le cadre du service public régional de la formation professionnelle défini à l’article L. 6121-2, de l’accès à la formation et à la qualification professionnelle des personnes handicapées.

Elle définit et met en œuvre un programme régional d’accès à la formation et à la qualification professionnelle des personnes handicapées en concertation avec :

1° L’Etat ;

2° Le service public de l’emploi ;

3° L’association de gestion du fonds pour l’insertion professionnelle des handicapés ;

4° Le fonds pour l’insertion des personnes handicapées dans la fonction publique ;

5° (Abrogé)

6° Les organismes de protection sociale ;

7° Les organisations syndicales et associations représentatives des personnes handicapées.
