Article L532-11 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Discussions before the National Court of Asylum take place in open court after the report has been read by the rapporteur. However, the hearing may be held in camera if the applicant so requests. The president of the hearing panel may also decide that the hearing will take place or continue without the presence of the public, if this is necessary to protect public order, personal privacy or secrets protected by law. It may also prohibit access to the courtroom by minors or certain minors.

Article L532-11
