In order to ensure the proper administration of justice and to enable the interested parties to present their explanations to the court, and subject to the conditions laid down in this article being met, the president of the Cour nationale du droit d’asile may provide for the court hearing room to be linked, live, by a means of audiovisual communication that guarantees the confidentiality and quality of the transmission with a specially equipped hearing room open to the public and located in premises belonging to the Ministry of Justice that are more easily accessible by the applicant, under conditions that respect the rights of the person concerned as provided for in Article L. 532-12. A copy of the entire file is made available to the applicant. If the applicant is assisted by counsel, the latter is physically present with the applicant. The interpreter made available to the applicant is present in the hearing room where the applicant is present. In the event of difficulty in obtaining the assistance of a qualified interpreter who is physically present with the applicant, the hearing is held only after the court has ensured that such an interpreter is present in the room in which it is sitting throughout the hearing.
These operations give rise to the drawing up of minutes in each of the hearing rooms or to an audiovisual or sound recording.
