Investment services providers other than portfolio management companies that use algorithmic trading in a Member State of the European Union or party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area shall:
1° Notify the Autorité des marchés financiers as well as the competent authority designated as the contact point, within the meaning of Article 79(1) of Directive 2014/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on markets in financial instruments, of the trading platform concerned ;
2° Document the nature of their algorithmic trading strategies and provide detailed information on the trading parameters or limits, the tests performed on their systems and the main compliance and risk controls put in place to ensure that the conditions set out in Article L. 533-10-4 are met. The AMF may, at any time, ask ISPs for additional information about the algorithmic trading they use and the systems used for this activity;
3° Keep a record of algorithmic trading activities and ensure that it is sufficient to enable the Autorité des marchés financiers to verify compliance with the obligations laid down in III of Article L. 533-10.
