Article L5411-1 of the French Public Health Code

In the premises, places, installations and vehicles to which they have access pursuant to article L. 1421-2, as well as in places open to the public, public health inspecting pharmacists and inspectors from regional health agencies who are pharmacists authorised and sworn in under the conditions laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat are authorised to investigate and record breaches of the laws and regulations relating to the practice of pharmacy and medical biology, as well as the activities and products mentioned in article L. 5311-1, as well as the provisions of Title II of Book I of the Consumer Code when the offence relates to one of these products. To this end, they have the powers provided for in article L. 1421-3.

Article L5411-1

Dans les locaux, lieux, installations et véhicules auxquels ils ont accès en application de l’article L. 1421-2, ainsi que dans les lieux ouverts au public, les pharmaciens inspecteurs de santé publique et les inspecteurs des agences régionales de santé ayant la qualité de pharmacien habilités et assermentés dans des conditions fixées par décret en Conseil d’Etat ont qualité pour rechercher et constater les infractions aux lois et règlements relatifs à l’exercice de la pharmacie et de la biologie médicale, ainsi qu’aux activités et aux produits mentionnés à l’article L. 5311-1, ainsi qu’aux dispositions du titre II du livre Ier du code de la consommation lorsque l’infraction porte sur un de ces produits. A cet effet, ils disposent des pouvoirs prévus à l’article L. 1421-3.
