Article L5421-4 of the French Public Health Code

Failure by any person exploiting a medicinal product or product to communicate any new information likely to influence the assessment of the benefits and risks of the medicinal product or product concerned pursuant to article L. 5121-9-2 or to transmit the data requested by the Agency within the time limits set by it pursuant to article L. 5121-9-3 is punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of €150,000.

Article L5421-4

Le fait pour toute personne exploitant un médicament ou produit de ne pas communiquer toute information nouvelle de nature à influencer l’évaluation des bénéfices et des risques du médicament ou du produit concerné en application de l’article L. 5121-9-2 ou de ne pas transmettre les données demandées par l’agence dans les délais impartis par elle en application de l’article L. 5121-9-3 est puni de deux ans d’emprisonnement et de 150 000 € d’amende.
