The insurance allowance and the allowance for self-employed workers provided for in Section 4 of Chapter IV of this Title are financed by :
1° Employers’ contributions ;
2° Where applicable, contributions from employees in the film production, audiovisual or entertainment professions mentioned in section 3 of the same chapter IV;
3° Where applicable, contributions from expatriate employees who join the insurance scheme individually and whose employer does not fall within the scope of article L. 5422-13 ;
4° Where applicable, contributions from employees, with the exception of expatriate employees, covered by the extension of the scope of application of the agreements mentioned in article L. 5422-20 outside national territory;
5° Taxes of any kind that are allocated in whole or in part to the body mentioned in the first paragraph of Article L. 5427-1, in particular to finance the allowance for self-employed workers.
The contributions mentioned in 1° to 3° are based on gross remuneration subject to a ceiling.
However, the contributions may be based on a flat-rate basis for categories of employees for whom contributions to a basic social security scheme are or may be calculated on a flat-rate basis.
