Article L5424-13 of the French Labour Code

The daily bad weather allowance is paid to the employee by his company at the normal pay date under the same conditions as pay.

It is not payable to an employee who is temporarily unfit for work.

It cannot be combined with daily benefits for accidents at work, sickness, social insurance and paid leave.

It is exclusive of any unemployment benefit.

It ceases to be payable if the employee engages in another salaried activity during the period of work stoppage.

L’indemnité journalière d’intempéries est versée au salarié par son entreprise à l’échéance normale de la paie dans les mêmes conditions que cette dernière.

Elle n’est pas due au salarié momentanément inapte.

Elle ne se cumule pas avec les indemnités journalières d’accident du travail, de maladie, des assurances sociales et de congés payés.

Elle est exclusive de toute indemnité de chômage.

Elle cesse d’être due dans le cas où le salarié exerce une autre activité salariée pendant la période d’arrêt du travail.
