Article L5441-4 of the French Public Health Code

The following are punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of €150,000:

1° Failure by the holder of a manufacturing authorisation to have a qualified person in accordance with Article 97 of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 on veterinary medicinal products;

2° Failure by the holder of a wholesale distribution authorisation to have a person responsible for wholesale distribution in accordance with Article 101 of the same Regulation.

Article L5441-4

Est puni de deux ans d’emprisonnement et de 150 000 euros d’amende :

1° Le fait, pour le titulaire d’une autorisation de fabrication, de ne pas disposer d’une personne qualifiée conformément à l’article 97 du règlement (UE) 2019/6 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 11 décembre 2018 relatif aux médicaments vétérinaires ;

2° Le fait, pour le titulaire d’une autorisation de distribution en gros, de ne pas disposer d’une personne responsable de la distribution en gros conformément à l’article 101 du même règlement.
