I. – Breaches of the provisions of this chapter, with the exception of article L. 546-3, are punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of €6,000 or one of these two penalties only. Any person who disregards one of the prohibitions set out in article L. 546-3 shall be liable to three years’ imprisonment and a fine of €375,000, or to one of these two penalties only. The court may order the posting or broadcasting of the decision handed down in accordance with the conditions set out in article L. 131-35 of the French Penal Code.
II. – When the Autorité des marchés financiers or the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution becomes aware of information that may affect the registration of the persons mentioned in I of Article L. 546-1 and result in their removal from the register mentioned in that same article, or when the Autorité des marchés financiers or the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution exercises its power to impose sanctions pursuant to Article L. 621-15 or I of Article L. 612-41 respectively, it shall inform the body responsible for maintaining the register.
III. – The body responsible for keeping the register referred to in I of Article L. 546-1 shall provide any information requested by the Autorité des marchés financiers or the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution acting within the scope of its duties.
IV. – The body referred to in I of Article L. 546-1 shall also communicate, at its own initiative, any useful information to the Autorité des marchés financiers or the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution.
