Article L552-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Any issuer making a public offer of tokens and applying for approval from the Autorité des marchés financiers under the conditions set out in Articles L. 552-4 to L. 552-7 shall be subject to the obligations of this chapter.

The provisions of this chapter apply to any offer of tokens that is not governed by Books I to IV, Chapter VIII of Title IV of this Book or Chapter I of this Title.

Article L552-1

Est soumis aux obligations du présent chapitre tout émetteur qui procède à une offre au public de jetons et qui sollicite un visa de l’Autorité des marchés financiers dans les conditions prévues aux articles L. 552-4 à L. 552-7.

Les dispositions du présent chapitre s’appliquent à toute offre de jetons qui n’est pas régie par les livres Ier à IV, le chapitre VIII du titre IV du présent livre ou le chapitre Ier du présent titre.
