Article L571-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Legal entities found to be criminally liable, under the conditions set out in Article 121-2 of the French Criminal Code, for the offences defined in Articles L. 571-3, L. 571-4, L. 571-6 to L. 571-9, L. 571-14 and L. 571-16 incur, in addition to the fine set out in Article 131-38 of the French Criminal Code, the penalties set out in Article 131-39 of the same Code.

The prohibition referred to in 2° of article 131-39 of the French Penal Code applies to the activity in the course of or in connection with which the offence was committed.

Article L571-1

Les personnes morales déclarées responsables pénalement, dans les conditions prévues par l’article 121-2 du code pénal, des infractions définies aux articles L. 571-3, L. 571-4, L. 571-6 à L. 571-9, L. 571-14 et L. 571-16 encourent, outre l’amende suivant les modalités prévues par l’article 131-38 du code pénal, les peines prévues par l’article 131-39 du même code.

L’interdiction mentionnée au 2° de l’article 131-39 du code pénal porte sur l’activité dans l’exercice ou à l’occasion de l’exercice de laquelle l’infraction a été commise.
