Article L5843-3 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I.-The provisions of Chapter I of Title II of Book VII of Part Five of the present Code mentioned in Article 55-1 of Organic Law No. 2004-192 of 27 February 2004 on the autonomous status of French Polynesia are applicable to French Polynesia subject to the following adaptations:

1° For the application of article L. 5721-2, the reference: “, L. 5215-22” is deleted;

2° For the application of the second paragraph of Article L. 5721-6-3, the words: “a representative of the departmental council when the department is a member of the union and a representative of the regional council when the region is a member of the union” are deleted.

II.-Article L. 2573-43 is applicable to mixed syndicates in which French Polynesia or one of its public establishments participates.

I.-Les dispositions du chapitre Ier du titre II du livre VII de la cinquième partie du présent code mentionnées à l’article 55-1 de la loi organique n° 2004-192 du 27 février 2004 portant statut d’autonomie de la Polynésie française sont applicables à la Polynésie française sous réserve des adaptations suivantes :


1° Pour l’application de l’article L. 5721-2, la référence : “, L. 5215-22 ” est supprimée ;


2° Pour l’application du deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 5721-6-3, les mots : “ d’un représentant du conseil départemental lorsque le département est membre du syndicat et d’un représentant du conseil régional lorsque la région est membre du syndicat ” sont supprimés.


II.-L’article L. 2573-43 est applicable aux syndicats mixtes auxquels participe la Polynésie française ou l’un de ses établissements publics.
