The knowledge and skills mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 6111-1 are based on the foundation mentioned inarticle L. 122-1-1 of the Education Code, which they develop and complement.
Actions to combat illiteracy and to learn and improve the mastery of the French language and digital skills are part of lifelong vocational training. All public services, local authorities and their groupings, companies and their social institutions, associations and trade unions and professional organisations contribute to the development and implementation of these actions in their respective fields of action.
