Article L613-6 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The rights conferred by the patent do not extend to acts concerning the product covered by that patent, performed on French territory, after that product has been placed on the market in France or on the territory of a State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area by the patent owner or with his consent unless there are legitimate grounds for that owner to oppose further marketing of the product.

Les droits conférés par le brevet ne s’étendent pas aux actes concernant le produit couvert par ce brevet, accomplis sur le territoire français, après que ce produit a été mis sur le marché en France ou sur le territoire d’un Etat partie à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen par le titulaire du brevet ou avec son consentement à moins qu’il n’existe des motifs légitimes justifiant que ce titulaire s’oppose à la poursuite de la commercialisation du produit.
