I.-The grouping’s unified medical commission carries out, in accordance with the same procedures, all the tasks and powers conferred by the present code on the grouping’s medical commission and the institutional medical commissions which it replaces. In this capacity :
1° It draws up the grouping’s medical strategy and the grouping’s shared medical project, and participates in their implementation;
2° It draws up the medical project of each participating establishment, in line with the project of the establishment concerned and with the grouping’s shared medical project, and contributes to its implementation;
3° It contributes to the development of a policy of continuous improvement in the quality, safety and appropriateness of care, as well as in the conditions under which users are received and cared for;
4° It proposes a programme of action, together with monitoring indicators, to the director of each establishment that is a member of the grouping. This programme takes into account the information contained in the annual report of the establishment’s users’ commission.
II.-The grouping’s unified medical commission is made up of representatives of the medical, odontological, pharmaceutical and midwifery staff of all the establishments belonging to the grouping. It elects its chairperson.
III -A decree determines the conditions for application of this article, in particular the composition and operating rules of the grouping’s unified medical commission, as well as the matters on which it is consulted.
