Article L6132-2-5 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The chairman of the grouping’s unified medical commission is vice-chairman of the strategic committee and vice-chairman of the executive boards of the establishments belonging to the grouping.

II.-The chairman of the grouping’s unified medical commission carries out, in accordance with the same procedures, all the tasks and powers conferred by this code on the chairmen of the grouping’s medical commission and the establishment medical commissions that the grouping’s unified medical commission replaces. In this capacity:

1° He/she coordinates, in conjunction with the chair of the strategic committee, the development of the shared medical project and, in conjunction with the directors of the establishments that are party to the grouping, the establishment medical projects;

2° He/she coordinates, in conjunction with the chair of the strategic committee and the directors of the establishments that are party to the grouping, the implementation of the medical strategy of the grouping and the establishments, as well as the shared medical project and the establishment medical projects;

3° He/she coordinates the medical policy of the grouping and the establishments that are party to the grouping.

III. -A decree sets out the terms and conditions of the duties of the chairman of the grouping’s unified medical commission and the terms and conditions under which human and material resources are made available to him/her to carry out his/her duties.

Article L6132-2-5

I.-Le président de la commission médicale unifiée de groupement est vice-président du comité stratégique, et vice-président des directoires des établissements parties au groupement.

II.-Le président de la commission médicale unifiée de groupement exerce, selon les mêmes modalités, l’ensemble des missions et des attributions conférées par le présent code aux présidents de la commission médicale de groupement et des commissions médicales d’établissement auxquelles la commission médicale unifiée de groupement se substitue. A ce titre :

1° Il coordonne, en lien avec le président du comité stratégique, l’élaboration du projet médical partagé et, en lien avec les directeurs des établissements parties au groupement, des projets médicaux d’établissement ;

2° Il coordonne, en lien avec le président du comité stratégique et les directeurs des établissements parties, la mise en œuvre de la stratégie médicale du groupement et des établissements, ainsi que du projet médical partagé et des projets médicaux d’établissements ;

3° Il coordonne la politique médicale du groupement et des établissements parties.

III.-Un décret fixe les modalités d’exercice des fonctions du président de la commission médicale unifiée de groupement et les modalités selon lesquelles des moyens humains et matériels sont mis à sa disposition pour assurer ses missions.
