Article L614-18 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

If the house arrest decision provided for in article L. 731-1 is annulled, this measure is immediately terminated and the president of the administrative court or the magistrate appointed for this purpose reminds the foreign national of his obligation to leave French territory.

Si la décision d’assignation à résidence prévue à l’article L. 731-1 est annulée, il est immédiatement mis fin à cette mesure et le président du tribunal administratif ou le magistrat désigné à cette fin rappelle à l’étranger son obligation de quitter le territoire français.
