Article L615-1 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The administrative authority may decide to implement a decision obliging a foreign national to leave the territory of another State in the following cases:
1° The foreign national has been the subject of an alert for the purposes of refusing entry by virtue of an enforceable decision refusing entry or removal taken by one of the other States party to the convention signed in Schengen on 19 June 1990 and is illegally present in mainland France ;<2° While in France, the foreign national has been the subject of an enforceable removal order issued by one of the other Member States of the European Union, the Republic of Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, the Kingdom of Norway or the Swiss Confederation.
The conditions for application of 2° are laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

Article L615-1

L’autorité administrative peut décider de mettre en œuvre une décision obligeant un étranger à quitter le territoire d’un autre État dans les cas suivants :
1° L’étranger a fait l’objet d’un signalement aux fins de non-admission en vertu d’une décision de refus d’entrée ou d’éloignement exécutoire prise par l’un des autres États parties à la convention signée à Schengen le 19 juin 1990 et se trouve irrégulièrement sur le territoire métropolitain ;
2° L’étranger a fait l’objet, alors qu’il se trouvait en France, d’une décision d’éloignement exécutoire prise par l’un des autres États membres de l’Union européenne, la République d’Islande, la Principauté du Liechtenstein, le Royaume de Norvège ou la Confédération suisse.
Les conditions d’application du 2° sont fixées par décret en Conseil d’Etat.
