Article L6161-8 of the French Public Health Code

Private healthcare establishments of collective interest may enter into cooperation agreements for one or more specific purposes, either with a public healthcare establishment or with the support establishment of a regional hospital grouping and, where applicable, with one or more establishments that are party to the grouping. These agreements are concluded on the basis of the regional health project defined in article L. 1434-1. They are approved by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.

Les établissements de santé privés d’intérêt collectif peuvent conclure, pour un ou plusieurs objectifs déterminés, soit avec un établissement public de santé, soit avec l’établissement support d’un groupement hospitalier de territoire et, le cas échéant, avec un ou plusieurs établissements parties au groupement, des accords de coopération. Ces accords sont conclus sur la base du projet régional de santé défini à l’article L. 1434-1. Ils sont approuvés par le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé.
