Article L6213-11 of the French Public Health Code

When decisions taken by the natural or legal person operating the medical biology laboratory appear to the biologist in charge to be of such a nature as to jeopardise the health of patients and public health or the operating rules of the laboratory as provided for in this Book, the biologist in charge shall inform the Director General of the Regional Health Agency who shall take the appropriate measures.

Lorsque des décisions prises par la personne physique ou morale qui exploite le laboratoire de biologie médicale apparaissent au biologiste-responsable comme de nature à mettre en cause la santé des patients et la santé publique ou les règles de fonctionnement du laboratoire prévues au présent livre, le biologiste-responsable en informe le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé qui prend les mesures appropriées.
