Article L628-3 of the French Commercial code

The court appoints one or more court-appointed administrators. Where the conciliator is registered on the list provided for in Article L. 811-2 or on the list provided for in Article L. 812-2, the court shall designate him either as a court-appointed administrator or as a court-appointed agent, depending on the profession he practises. By a specially reasoned decision, it may appoint another person under the conditions set out in these same articles.
At its request, the court may exempt the debtor from carrying out the inventory provided for in article L. 622-6.

Le tribunal désigne un ou plusieurs administrateurs judiciaires. Lorsque le conciliateur est inscrit sur la liste prévue à l’article L. 811-2 ou sur celle prévue à l’article L. 812-2, le tribunal le désigne soit comme administrateur judiciaire, soit comme mandataire judiciaire, selon la profession qu’il exerce. Par décision spécialement motivée, il peut désigner une autre personne dans les conditions prévues à ces mêmes articles.


A sa demande, le tribunal peut dispenser le débiteur de procéder à l’inventaire prévu par l’article L. 622-6.
