Article L632-11-2 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Notwithstanding Act 68-678 of 26 July 1968 on the disclosure of economic, commercial, industrial, financial or technical documents and information to foreign natural or legal persons, the Autorité des marchés financiers shall cooperate with the International Monetary Fund, the Financial Stability Board, the Bank for International Settlements, the International Organisation of Securities Commissions and the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures and shall exchange with them, without undue delay, any information relevant to the performance of their duties. To this end, the AMF may transmit information covered by professional secrecy.

Par dérogation à la loi n° 68-678 du 26 juillet 1968 relative à la communication de documents et renseignements d’ordre économique, commercial, industriel, financier ou technique à des personnes physiques ou morales étrangères, l’Autorité des marchés financiers coopère avec le Fonds monétaire international, le Conseil de stabilité financière, la Banque des règlements internationaux, l’Organisation internationale des commissions de valeurs et le Comité sur les paiements et les infrastructures de marché et échange avec eux, sans délai excessif, les informations utiles à l’accomplissement de leurs missions. L’Autorité des marchés financiers peut, à cet effet, transmettre des informations couvertes par le secret professionnel.
