When the Autorité des marchés financiers receives transaction reports in accordance with Article L. 533-9, it shall transmit this information to the competent authority of the most relevant market in terms of liquidity for the financial instrument in question, when this market is located in another Member State of the European Union or in another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
When the AMF receives transaction reports from a branch in mainland France or in the overseas departments or the Department of Mayotte or Saint-Martin of investment services providers headquartered in another Member State of the European Union or in another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, it communicates them to the competent authority of the branch’s home State. However, it need not do so if the latter authority indicates that it does not wish to receive the information.
